Hello,

I am wishing to introduce to you my latest Christmas comedy feature film screenplay 'Mr. Cranklepot' WGA# 25103032. It’s a wonderful festive story and one that I know will make a successful film.

I am a new writer however my feature screenplay THE HEART OF A SPY has been optioned by Galloping Films. I also have a short film AN AUSTRALIAN MEMOIR that has also been optioned.

The story Mr. Cranklepot begins in mid December in the small picture perfect town of Gogoville. This Christmas is very different however as Santa Claus is sick in bed with the flu. Snow Ball his most trusted but mischievous Elf on advice from the Magic Christmas Book takes reign. He must choose a replacement to done the red and save the day.

Mr.Cranklepot the grumpy middle-aged manager of the Happy Holiday Department Store throws his birthday present from his office window towards the sky yelling how much he hates Christmas and how if he was Santa Claus he would...

Snowball atop Rudolf flying high in the sky with ears pricked screeches to a stop mumbling 'Yes'. Suddenly, magically and unbeknown to Mr.Cranklepot the sky lightens as the World seems to slow and stop.

'BANG'.

Everything is back to normal, or is it? Mr.Cranklepot still sees and acts as Mr.Cranklepot to himself but to everybody else he is now Santa Claus.

A mad capped journey full of comedy, twists and laughs begins. He is arrested, rescued and run out of town just days before Christmas and the day that the bank forecloses on his department store.

Little by little he is able to see more of the man he is to become as he unlocks pieces of the Christmas puzzle.

Will Christmas be the same again? The one final twist that saves the day will leave people truly believing in Christmas.
