Hello, I am wishing to introduce to you my sci-fi feature ILYA. I am a new writer however my feature screenplay THE HEART OF A
SPY has been optioned by Galloping Films. I also have a short film AN
AUSTRALIAN MEMOIR that has also been optioned. The story ILYA starts with Professor Igor walking across a
snow-covered square in Russia. His face shows a growing frustration as he
slowly reads through recently released Top Secret Russian Documents. The
answers to the questions he has spent his life searching for are not
there. It is now 1902. Japan launches a surprise sea-borne attack on
Russia, the biggest sea battle in history. Russia suffers a massive defeat
which infuriates a soon to be dictator named Joseph Stalin. Stalin turns
to Ilya Ivanov a famed Russian genetic scientist to develop "a new
invincible human being, insensitive to pain, resistant and indifferent
about the quality of food it would eat", a hybrid cross.
Defying science Ilya succeeds in creating a Genetic Warrior.
He creates a beast with amazing super human strength unlike any being that
has walked the Earth before. Stalin takes ultimate control and in the
guise of science orders his army to abduct young female villagers to be
used as breeding factories. The army brutally destroys and kills everyone
and everything that stands in its way. An army of Genetic Warriors is bred into existence at a secret
Russian city. As numbers swelled and training intensified, resent, cracks
and hatred spawned amongst the beasts. An unpredictable uprising allows
Ilya to escape and for him to realize his dream. It is present day once again. Professor Igor lets pages of the
documents slowly slip from his fingers. He has realized that while he has
a terrible secret he cannot reveal he must also accept that Mother Russia
will have her terrible secrets that she cannot reveal. What will the world believe?
Please let me know if I can send you the script and thank you
for your time. Warm Regards, Jeremy Rigby |
